Hey there! Thanks for your visit to my digital portfolio! Happy to have you here as we delve into my journey as a System Administrator. My name is William de Bouter, and I would love to share with you my experiences and skills in managing and optimizing IT systems.
Since I'm very interested into everything about Information Technology and System Administration, I am committed to continuous learning. I stay updated with the latest trends and technologies by Doing a lot of Researches, Courses, Conferences, etc. I believe that by embracing changes, we can learn something new and develop a better future.
Throughout career path, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in a variety of areas including :
Harnessing the power of Microsoft 365 admin center to enhance productivity like Exchange, SharePoint, Defender, Entra (Azure Active Directory).
Organizing users permission, creating automation, bulk changes, managing access rights, and migrating tickets to another projects of Jira and spaces in Confluence.
Creating integrations to sync tickets one way from Jira to Monday.com or the opposite way using an automation label from Jira.
Basic knowledge for updating firmware, configuring, and monitoring Cisco switches or access points for seamless network operations.
Initiating backup database storage using Amazon Web Services with S3 Bucket by utilizing the AWS Command Line Interface and creating an automation process to transition storage classes to Glacier Deep Archive. Also providing users to have access to it with FTP Client.
Securing all connected devices with Antivirus Cortex XDR by scanning, updating, and removing Malicious Software or Files that contained a virus from the endpoint manager.
Providing users that required a Premium license from the Management Console and organizing access with user groups, and of course fixing issues with it when working remotely from home.
Organizing users or external companies to have specific access to the repositories or organizations, migrate repositories to another organization team.
